My doctor never told me that my symptoms could not have been caused by the Mirena, and never tried to discourage me from having it removed. He did tell me that I was the only patient who had so many problems with the IUD. I really don't blame my doctor for any of this, since I asked for the Mirena after reading a couple of articles about how great it was. I wish I'd seen this forum before I decided to try the Mirena!
