Aw Man! You and me both with the aspirin\ibuprofen\acetametaphon(sp?) tablets. Any little ache or pain I would grab whatever was easily available. Now I just ride the pain out or take saligesic(natural herb) tablets for pain. I had back surgery over 9 years ago for a herniated disk, so prior to that, my diet included an Extra-Strength Excedrin for each meal. And lets not forget the Percocet, Darvocet, and another ????-cet that I was taking for after surgery relief. DANG!!!

From x-rays a few years back, it was found that I have another herniated disk in my upper back\neck area. My fam practitioner told me that "its okay" to take a Naprosin every day for pain. Ummmm no.... that won't be happening. I don't do hard workouts anymore but now concentrate more on my cardiovascular system and "my insides" as I want to be healthy in there.

I started cleansing my liver this past summer and want to continue repairing what I have possibly damaged from years ago. And that includes all the smoking and drinking that I did from my younger years. Ya know... when you're young, 40 years old seems like an eternity. Man!... does it creep up on you pretty quick. (chuckles)
