Hi dbb
When you consider that 12 drops per gallon of 35% H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) will sterilize water, i would think that only a few more drops per gallon would be adequate for the nebulizer mix. You would not want to go too strong because it may irritate the sinus tissues.

Shelf life of H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) dramatically decreases with rise in temperature. The nascent oxygen out-gasses from the mixture, leaving water. This is why 35% H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) should never be stored in glass at room temp. It will explode from the out-gassing if tightly sealed. H2O2 should always be refrigerated and for long term storage, putting 35% H2O2 in the freezer is recommended. Store brand 3% H2O2 has stabilizers in it to slow down the outgassing of oxygen, but in time it will also lose it's potency.

I'm a believer in Colloidal Silver if that's what your friend is using in the nebulizer. It's antibacterial and antiviral. I don't think I'd combine it with nascent oxygen though.

Hope this helps
Paul
