2 questions. Are you eating carbs? Have you done any colon cleansing? When I started I started with a very strict diet and lots of antifungals and probiotics. I was so sensitve back then that leftovers and all restaurant food bloated me. So I stuck close to home. Anyway while this will help to get the candida under control, the thing that will push this muck out of your intestines will be colon cleansing.
The treatment is cheap and you do not need the ND to prescribe anything expensive. Antifungals - rotate GSE, Oil of Oregano Caps, raw garlic cloves, caprylic acid and maybe SF722. Take 2 for a while then switch to another 2
Begin using lots of cinnamon and curry and spices. I know this may be hard but when you are out eat only vegetables and fish with out any kind of sauce. Carry your own oil and vinegar (EV and ACV) or use just fresh lemon on your salads.
By this time you will see what your trigger foods are. Avoid them. As you begin to have die off, you may become constipated. Keep your bowels moving anyway you can. I have sometimes had to resort to glycerin suppositories and have even been converted to an enema fan.
One of the best things you can do and there are many people on here who have had succes with them is them is the PB&C shake. I cannot do them all the time because they leave me bloated and make me irritable. When I started I did them for a couple of months straight. My experience has been this. As stated when I started the pain was higher up in my gut, about underneath my sternum. After a couple of months with the PB&C shakes I can tell I was moving deeper into my intestines and pushing that mess down to where I can eventually pass it. The idea is to keep doing until you have fully cleaned your intestines. Candida likes ol' dirty pipes. After the first of the year, I am going to do a couple of colonic therapies. I am too broke right now. My candida can flare when I stray from my diet (like I have been doing a little during these holidays). When you start them they might really constipate you. Drink plenty of water and as said do whatever is needed. When I am not doing the psyllium, I switch to whole flax seeds and find that these give me fewer bad reactions.
I am also a big fan of Pau d'arco tea and drink if every day. I started ordering most of my stuff from iherb.com and they have excellent prices. The best price for the Caproil is a Canadian company. Can't remember the site. You can get everything you need for....let's see
Whole psyllium husks are cheap ($5)
liquid Bentonite $8
Caproil $22
Oregano Oil $14
GSE $10
Enema Bag $12
under $75. Most of all those expensive colon cleansing products are just psyllium anyway.
So how do you think you got into this mess? Antibiotics ? Hormones? Mercury fillings? Do you know?
