Hello again,

Thanks to all of you that responded to my questions. Yes, I will continue oil pulling. And I did think about trying another oil as Olive-Oil is so yellow to begin with, I can't imagine how it would ever turn white. And for anyone who is interested, earthclinic.com gives a list of all oils (for pulling) and what they're good for, ie, virus, bacterial, etc. I chose Olive-Oil cuz I already had it plus it was recommended as an "all around" good oil for pulling.

I can state that yesterday was my 1st day to try this. I only did it once in AM for approx 17 mins. I have a molar that has perio pocket of #5 and I'm past a cleaning. Anyway, I could feel that "ever so slight ache" from the bottom of tooth and thot 'this is last thing I need rite before holidays'. Anyway, after the oil pulling the sensation was gone and it has not come back. I did "pulling" again this morning (only once per day thus far) and still the tooth is fine. Yeah!! I also think rinsing my mouth w/the cayenne powder in warm water helps a lot as cayenne works on just about anything. Plus cayenne brings blood quickly to gums so I'd think that's a good thing rite after "pulling". After reading all the data on earchclinic on "oil pulling" I absolutely do not want any of the toxins left behind. Also, after the cayenne rinse, I brush (w/my Colgate toothpaste) and then water pik.

If anyone has further info, please pass it along.

Again, thanks to all for your kind feedback.
