I just had to share this with y'all. Lately I have been so discouraged about my problem of chronic pain and being unable to walk. There are a lot of opinions, but no real answers, and I seem to be getting worse. God seems so far away most of the time. I feel like I am being attacked not only in the body, but also the mind and spirit.
Today I was sharing some small talk with a lady at work-a stranger. When the subject of shopping came around I said I could not do much shopping because of a large repair bill on my car, and now my television had gone out and I could not afford a new one for several months. Out of the blue this lady lifted her hand and said God will provide out of His abundance. The words were barely out of her mouth when a co-worker came to my station and said "I have a television for you". Talk about a miracle, that was one. I now have a 25" color TV in perfect condition to replace my 11 year old set. When this lady asked if I needed any thing else, I mentioned my back problems. She laid hands right on the spot where the pain is the worse and prayed-no-she claimed victory. I am not healed so anyone would notice, but I do believe healing has taken place, although it may take time to manifest itself. This evening I was able to get this large television out of my car and set up without help. Most evening I barely have the strength and energy to get in the house. There have been time when I literally screamed out loud because the pain was so terrible. God showed me He is still here and still working and blessing. Right now I am not just "hopingso" I am also "believingso" and "trustingso". Please pray with me that I will overcome all the lies the tempter keeps throwing at me. I do desire complete and perfect healing of my body, but even more important is the healing of my spirit and mind into a stronger faith and a closer walk with my Lord and Savior, whatever the circumstances.
