Hi propaul, thank you for your kind comment, but I did make an error in my posting. I was thinking about it shortly after waking up this morning and wondering if I actually had made such a spelling error. Funny how the mind works! I just had the opportunity to logon here for the first time today a few moments ago, and found that I did indeed make that error.

I spelled the solution that results in water being drawn into the colon as hypnotonic, when the correct spelling is actually hypotonic. I don't know if hypnotonic is actually a word, but it's spelling to me conjurs up images of something that induces hypnosis!

Yikes!
