Hi Mike. Thank you so much for your very informative post. I am amazed that you took the trouble to answer me so comprehensively. I am going to print out your post so I can keep it for future reference. I have been taking magnesium and calcium supplements at around the time the irregularities started. You never know! I had to look up dysautonomia but the dictionary didn't have it? Can you please translate for me? The only thing is that my palpitations are started off by a bubbling sensation in my throat like trapped wind, which then turns into a lump, and stays for a while in the same place before disappearing. Luckily after such a horrible Friday night, yesterday I was totally free of both symptoms. Like you mentioned they happen when relaxed, either in bed or on the sofa watching tv. The doctor reasured me that my heart was absolutely fine, thank goodness.
