Thanks for your answer, I have never heard any of that before. I have only tried plain water because I thought it seemed the most neutral. Now I am curious about other additives I have heard about. I have read a few things online about enemas and colonics but since I was only looking for help with constipation, and I was a bit leary of the whole process, I didn't look much further than water.

Can you recommend a source for info on other additives? Not only what but why.
