WOW. It's amazing. I had my Mirena put in April 2004. Since having it, I have had all the sypmtoms you have listed. No sex drive, fatigue, moodiness, irritability, depression, weight gain, (20 pounds in 2 and a half years), what else? My doctor told me last year, that it was "Mommy Syndrome" and I was depressed. A year and a half later, I have the same sypmtoms and he again, tells me it's basically in my head and to seek counsiling and that it couldn't be the Mirena. I did have it removed yesterday and what a difference. I feel 20% better already! I am sending in a complaint to the NYS Medical Board. (I live in New York). I hate to think of all the other Mirena users who are suffering the same effects and are being told that it's them,- they are the ones losing their mind. I can't stand this! What can we do? My husband wants me to just move on, but I need to stand up and speak for those who won't. I have been thinking for too long that I have a problem. I know now I don't, that it was Mirena all along.
