My oldest daughter had some allergies (dairy, egg and nuts) and had very slow growth. I took her to an endocrinologist when she was 4. The doc said she's just tiny (I am, too, so it's not unlikely.) that she's fabulously healthy, just tiny.

Anyway, I understand your worries.

Give your daughter's body some time to heal. I'd imagine it would take some time for that new diet to kick in.

At the same time, I would visit an endocrinologist, just to be certain.
