I buy the coconut milk that comes in a can. I know it's not the best quality, but it's good and does the job. I'm going to try my hand at juicing this coming weekend and probably see if I can get the hang of it on christmas weekend(4-day holiday). My dad bought me S.S.S. Tonic for my iron and B-vitamins. It's in liquid form and makes me feel like I got a shot of energy big-time when I take it in the morning. I think my hand swelling is from the cleansing. It happens every morning around 5, like clockwork. I am up for work by 5:25 and by then I can hardly make a fist...interesting. I think the 2 liters of water is about right. I can try doing 3 a day for a couple days and see if that makes a difference? I've been drinking 2 liters a day for probably 2 years but all of that meat and dairy did a number on my liver, spleen and kidneys. My goal in all of this is to feel/be healthy, not have to go to the doctor anymore for strange bodily issues, clear up my acne, lose weight (I've gained 20 lbs since I started cleansing), not crave junk.....etc. I tried to eat chicken over the weekend and I didn't like it, tasted bad. I didn't crave the bacon at breakfast AT ALL and a lot of dairy products, even in small quantities make me itch... I'm going to make it to the store this week to get the hemp powder. I was in Vail all weekend and there aren't exactly health food stores in celebrity ski land....I don't really count calories when I eat. I just eat when I'm hungry, is that okay? I usually eat fruit for breakfast with one liter of water, trail mix for snack, vegetables for lunch with a mojo bar or something, an apple as a mid-afternoon snack and beets or green beans or a salad with spinach, cabbage, pine nuts, tomato, onion, maybe a little feta, cilantro and some kalamata olives with olive oil for salad dressing. Sound good?
