I too have seen this phenom, and it's happened to me across various platforms, so to speak. Have not yet drilled down on exaxtly what the cause is.... it may in fact be an accidental "insert" key as mentioned. I'll try playing with the Insert key next time this happens....perhaps this is the simple solution. I do know this - it happens when within various editors (word processors) on different web sites and forums other than CZ.....it happens when I'm in the CureZone forum editor (pick one - Regular Text, or Tiny MCE), it happens when I'm using my own MS-word editor, and when I'm using an editor with in my E-mail program (which happens to be an MS program too, btw). The thought occured to me that one of the reasons this same basic problem may occur across different platforms ..... maybe they are all relying on a version of the same or similar flawed MS word-processing code?........not entirely out of the question.

Depending on where I am (which web site, which forum) or what I'm doing (using my own editor or using another editor, like a forum editor?), I've come up with some work arounds. The easy one is when I'm just using my own editor, perhaps typing out a letter, document, whatever....when this "bug" appears, I save my work, close the editor, then start it right back up again, bug gone....for a while. When this bug pops up while using a web forum editor, this is not so desirable to do (close down, start back up) since this generally will erase what I'm typing before having a chance to post to the forum. In this case, all I do is add one or two carriage-return / line feeds ahead of the spot where I'm typing, this will at least allow me to continue typiing new stuff that does not "pac man eat" existing words.

This particular bug is one of two tops on my list to figure out. The other one? Trying to isolate and diagnose what seems to be a random mispelled-word generator that continues to insert mispelled words into my typing despite my efforts to proofread for and correct same prior to posting :)
