Well, I really have no lack of willpower. Many years ago when this whole thing started I literally could eat no fat whatsoever. It was so bad that I could eat was fat free muffins , boiled chicken and rice. Everything else made me very nauseated. That really is not about just eating the margarine. That is what set it off this time. But there are others things that do this to me. Red wine, grape juice also cause me as much trouble. I do not consume these foods, drinks for this reason. Innocently enough I put a small amount of margarine on a muffin and it caused it to flair up.

My concern is that I cannot digest fats. Everyone knows that margarine is not good for a person. But unfortuntely dietarily , a person needs some fat in their diet. It is actually needed for digestion and that was actually the reason why I put the margarine on the muffin to begin with. I had not gone to the bathroom right in weeks despite my extreme healthy diet. So I started to think that maybe I needed some fat. And for a day or two of eating I did start going to the bathroom. But then my stomach slowed down and I immediately knew I could not even eat a small amount of margarine.

This same thing can happen to me from olive oil, fish oil, any oil, any fat including that of meat.

My question is why might this be. I really prefer not to be told that I have no will power and it is my fault. It is simply not normal to not be able to digest fat. Fat slows down the digestion , this is common knowledge. Unfortunately with me it really slows it down to the point where I have delayed gastric emptying. So obviously I avoid it as much as possible. But again, a person does need a small of fat.

Are you saying otherwise?
