The Antibiotics cause candida to flare by killing probiotics. So make sure you take a probiotic at least 6 hours apart from taking the antibiotic. I usually take twice the dose of probiotics when taking them when on Antibiotics . If you constantly replenish the probiotics, the effect of the Antibiotics on your intestinal flora will be minimal.

I know it is scary, but their have been a couple of times I have had to take antibiotics since learning about Candida and treating it. And while it may flare up a bit, it has never reverted back to as bad as it was before I started treating it.
