Hi Venk,

Your post gives me hope. I am in a constant battle with candida and have been for decades.

I just got test results and found the IGG levels that measure exposure to candida at 1.58 and it should be under 1.0. The costs to kill candida and rid the body of metals and eat organically are staggering as you probably know . The paradox is that we need candida to protect our cells from heavy metals and other foreign invaders.

Given your post, do you think there is any real validity to the TMAU theory that surrounds malodors. I for one think that we may have difficulty excreting heavy metals, such as the case with genotype APO-E 4/3 4/4, hence the increase in candida and malodors. This has overtaxed our livers to the point that they are not functioning optimally.

I intend to see a geneticist in January and I will ask her to test me for the geneotype I described because my gut tells me there is a correlation between candida, heavy metals and liver congestion.

In the meantime, I will continue oil pulling/neti washes/eating organic/taking probiotics/enzymes/zinc/ Liver Cleanses and using my zapper religiously until optimal health prevails.
