The origin of the stones has been debated endlessly. Plenty of pretty qualified people disagree with you. I agree with ff. The stones could be from multiple sources, depending on the person and the time - some very well may be freshly ejected bile mixed with whatever is around at the time. Ultimately the stone issue is secondary to the issue of health benefits. Some people (but not all) see great benefits from the flush. To many people that is the only thing that matters. Until we do a study involving the liver autopsy from multiple cadavers we probably will never know for sure.
