I have a hard time believing that it is bad for your lungs since everyone says ozone is so safe for the body. I mean if people claim that "all good tissues have defenses against ozone" then why is this not true of our lungs too? It makes no sense.

The only thing I can see that would be bad is if u oxidized too much at once, but this can be true of taking ozone internally too, which is why people slowly build up.

Can anyone shed and REAL light on why it's "bad to breath" as opposed to just "this one guy said not to?" or it "burns" your lungs (ozone oxidizes from what i know.. not burns...)?
