the 3rd tradition:
"the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking"...
is this not a condition...???
does this not then exclude everyone that has no desire to stop drinking...???
i've even been to meetings that made it a point of having each person declare their alcoholism before you were accepted/or allowed to speak...
the "washingtonian movement" became defunt because they allowed themselves to be become overly diversified... they tried to be all things to all people and it didn't work... AA is a fellowship of men an women who share their experience strength an hope with each other that they might solve their common problem...
thus our singleness of purpose makes our agenda perfectly clear does it not...???
so...
it's no big deal...
lol...
;-)
it is just like you said...
we're all inclusive...
the only big deal in AA is that there are no big deals...
lol...
;-)
