Always good to see people following the rules of their own program. I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in your "big book" that it's not your job to decide/diagnose the addictions of others. It's ok. Tell yourself whatever you have to in order to feel better. You're a great example of what is so wrong with your program though: if people don't read its books, follow its rules, scream its mantras, follow its crowd - they are wrong, they weren't addicted, etc. etc. That's a pretty good (yet nasty) example of the problem with groupthink.
