Pack the area with gauze soaked in clove oil. This will speed up healing by ensuring no infection occurs. Packing the area will also stop air from flowing into the hole.

You may also want to up your vitamin c intake as well as garlic oil or oregano oil, this will help with internal infections that may hamper the immune system.

Other than that, wait patiently to see the oral surgeon - be positive and believe that it will heal on it's own!
