'Essential oils' are used in very dilute quantities in perfumes, can you imagine drinking perfume? And only several drops are used in a bottle.
These oils are obtained by various methods, distillation being one of them, from flowers, plants etc.
I will look into the book but you should be careful what you injest.
What exactly is the illness that you have?
