With anything you must use caution.
Raindrop Technique is an amazing "therapy" to not only align the body, but to balance it & help the body "heal" from whatever is going on inside that person.
I don't know who these people had Raindrop from, but caution should always be used, as with anything...That means education about the oils, etc.
Here is an excerpt from the Essential Desk Reference for Young Living Oils by D. Gary Young & it states:
Exercise caution when applying essential oils to skin that has been exposed to cosmetics, personal care products, soaps, and cleansers containing synthetic chemicals. Some of them -- especially petroleum based chemicals - can penetrate and remain under the skin and fatty tissues for days or even weeks after use. Essential Oils may react with such chemicals and cause skin irritation, nausea, headaches, or other uncomfortable side-effects.
Essential oils can also react with toxins built up in the body from chemicals in food, water, and work environment. If you experience a reaction to essential oils, it may be wise to temporarily discontinue their use and start an internal cleansing program before resuming regular use of essential oils. In addition, double your water intake while using essential oils..
So, my question to you is.....Did these people use synthetic products on their body prior to RDT? Were they having a detox reaction from the oils being on the body? Yes, they probably were, but that is just my opinion.
The oils are very powerful & will help the body detox & get rid of toxins in the body.
If that person is overloaded with toxins (heavy metals, pesticides, synthetic chemicals, etc) this is the body's way of ridding them of these toxins....
I hope that sheds some light.....
Blessings,
Alicia~
