Sounds as if you've put more emphasis on sexual activity than engaging in activities that might enhance you emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, etc. Sexual activity does not translate into "intimacy." As you are probably aware, anyone can perform a sexual act upon anyone/anything, and true intimacy has nothing to do with the outcome.
A good personal therapist/counselor might be able to help you, as well as engaging in healthy, non-sexual activities, such as: painting; acting; photography; hiking; pottery; sports; etc.

Thank you! I never put it into this perspective. We never have the time to share many activities together, and you are correct that I tend to translate sex into intimacy. I feel unwanted if anything.
