First of all, most therapists (as in counselors... most often LCSW's and LPC's) cannot legally prescribe drugs! Second, there are therapists who support alternative treatments. Just because a person does not want to take meds does not mean that s/he cannot benefit from or seek therapy... especially when the person has chronic symptoms of anxiety, depression, obsessive/compulsive traits, and characterisitics that indicate a possible personality disorder.

A lot of people here seem to think that they can help everyone. Face it... some people need professional help. That help can be obtained from a provider who supports and/or provides alternative treatments.
