Wow! How exciting to read about all of your experiences with essential oils.

I am still learning and experimenting with my oils.

Kim, I was wondering what your objections to YL are. I don't know a lot about the company, but I have listened to some tapes to educate myself about the products. Dr. Young seems sincere and very knowledgeable about his products. I know that it's a MLM company and that turns some people off. I did not join it to make a business out of it. (It only costs $5 to join to take advantage of the lower prices). I just really feel that these are great oils. I like the fact that they are organically grown. They are all natural and I have no doubt that they are pure theraputic oils-no synthetic fragrances added to the oil.

There are oils and fragrances that you can buy in stores that smell really good, but they are not organically grown (without adding any pesticides) or other chemicals to stretch the amount of oil you are buying.

I read a story about someone using a brand of lavendar for burns because they heard that it was good for that. They did not realize that it was not pure lavendar. The oil of lavendin had been added. There is a difference between lavendar and lavendin. Lavendin will definatley make the burn worse.

Also, before I started educating myself about not only oils, but products in general, I used the Johnsons lavendar bedtime bath for my dd. It smells really good, but it has so many chemicals added to it. It goes right into the pores of the skin. I didn't realize how important it is to not use products with chemical ingredients added to them.

Because we don't immediately break out in a rash, or keel over when we use popular brand name products, we assume that they are safe. It can take years to build up a toxicity to something. That is one thing we are doing when we cleanse-trying to get out all of the toxins that have built up in our bodies over time.

I feel just really fortunate that I came across curezone at the first part of this year. I am glad that I have learned so much about being healthier. I am able to share that with my family and friends. And helping people is what it's all about. :)
