Thank you but there are A LOT people on CZ that deserve credit for their input -- they are before and after me. If it wasn't for them, I don't know what I'd do!

It sounds like you're on the right track by taking matters into your own hands.

I can understand your frustration with your GP. In some ways it isn't their fault. They reiterate what is told to them by the establishment and big pharm companies. This is what irks me the most!

Docs are far too busy these days to research matters or to even care to take on personal interests. I have many docs that are my personal friends, and some have indicated how frustrated they are too in not resolving problems. There are some good docs out there and some very bad ones. The situation will only turn around if doctors start speaking up more, meaning, the interest is in the patient not lining the pockets of the many.
