You have to learn to shift your conscious efforts and burn them deeply into your subconscious.

You also need to understand that it's a permanent change you should seek, and that is to be healthy. "Diets" never work because the term describes a temporary effort that your subconscious is aware it will be over and go back to the same routine.

Seeking happiness from food provides immediate gratification while exarcebating the problem. You need to untrain this and seek happiness from being healthy. Eat to live. Remember it is ALWAYS your option, it's your reality and you are constantly in charge. Take those negative external comments and turned them into positive as a boost to change your life. See that your reality is giving you advise, it's giving you hints that it wants your body to be healthy and happy.
This is as hard as you make it to be. It can be as simple as snapping your fingers and altering your life forever.

On another front, it's certain that you are providing the wrong food for your body at some point. No matter what though, a simple change in eliminating any processed food and homecook everything from all natural (no processing of any kind) will most lkely give you positive results.

Your elimination pathways may be blocked so cleansing is bound to jump start your effort. Don't think that you need to starve yourself. This will further worsen the problem when returning to consume foods.

Most importantly it's that conscious effort that you have to imprint deep down to the subconscious level that it's a permanent healthy change you seek.
Learn to listen to your body. If you choose to continue this pathway then your telling yourself that your current status is not worth the effort to change and when chronic diseases emerge it will only make the efforts to return to balance harder.

Do this only for yourself - and you'll see the reality that surrounds you change with you.
