Funny you should mention this, as tonight I had an urge to eat beans. I really don't even like beans. My hubby picked me up a can of non-fat refries. Not the best but I've only made a bean mixture from scratch for my birds and have no idea how to make the 'human kind' of beans!

I've made a pretty major change in diet; NO! I'm not giving up meat! But have given up wheat, gluten products (for now), booze, sugars, anything fermented and/or cured and being that rice is the only starchy carbs I've been eating, I'm really not eating much in the way of 'those' carbs.

BUT...I WANTED beans. (?)
