you know what, Oh?
or is that Oh!
your patience with this stuff makes my eyes cross...but I'm thinking maybe I have a firewall problem, or too much security. I just haven't figured out where the source of the issue lies. I'm getting the sense that things were fine until I lost the E drive--which still *seems* to house the old version of Adobe 7 I had..and I can't uninstall it! Consequently, I downloaded just a lesser adobe, ( to C drive) and that's when I figured out I can (only) use IE to get the pdf files.
For some reason, I use that 'reader' function a lot. It seems like most of the study reading stuff I'm interested in is in PDF.
thanks for your scroogling, and all that sort of thing
:-)
and you too, Zoe
it's never simple is it, when it comes to comps? PS, I have XP too. But probably a lot of patches and so on. Norton security...
Oh for a simple Mac. But I *appreciate* my computer, and all the good that it does. Yes.
