Thanks Alison, it was a neat experience. I'm glad you got to experience it yourself and it went well for you.

Actually, I might consider this one to have had three midwives, the most active was my dear sister-in-law who was my literal support during the intense labor, the second being the actual midwife...the third was her backup.

Well I have to count my husband...should we call him midhusband? He actually 'caught' the baby. ;)

My midwife sure encouraged my trust in the natural instinct of the body which still grows.
