Sorry I forgot to address this in your earlier post. Actually I have no experience at all with the alkalizing drops. Here is my "guess" about them, though. The drops probably will only alkalize the water, but not give you the other 2 benefits (unless they have some strong evidence to suggest otherwise). You could certainly try the drops. I personally bought the following machine:

You can always kick it off before you go bed an them it's ready in the morning. This is a poor man's ionizer (not that I'm poor, but I've spent thousands on ozone equipment and my wife would be a little upset if I coughed up another $800 for a on-tap ionizer machine).
