I have read a few statements on the internet saying that sluggish liver can be benfitted by massage. Has anybody experimented with massaging the liver to aid in function and detoxification?

I bought a muscle massager and I am going to give this a try. I assume I need to be very careful and gentle so as not to damage the liver in spite of what I have read that suggest the massage should be strong and deep.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
