Natural salt (sea salt, himalayan salt etc.) contains sodium chloride, and trace minerals!!!! The most important part about the natural salt is the presence of trace minerals.
Without the trace minerals, I cannot obtain cultured/fermented cabbage. The cabbage would become mushy and not fit for consumption!!!!
