There's an old saying... "The way out is the way through."

Now, if you're comfortable with your homeopath (and it seems you are...), I'd say follow his advice.

But... quite often, the actions which brought about the feelings in the first place are exactly the actions which need to be continued to get you through the feelings you're having!

So... my completely biased, unprofessional advice is to keep going with your cleansing program. You could slow down some, if it's getting too intense for ya, but don't "hold up". Just tone it down until you reach a point which is just a hair into the "uncomfortable" range, rather than somewhere smack dab in the middle of "stick a fork in me, I'm done" range.
