Instead of using mayo or even goat cheese for my sandwhich, I'm looking for a healthy, alkalizing alternative like avocado. I was thinking of buying a ripe avocado, steaming it (skin off?), and then smashing it into a thick, creamy spread. Anyone have simple recipes for an avocado spread or any other healthy spread I can put on my veggie sandwhich?
