There are differances of opinion on soy. Some are bassed on good research and some on simple observation.I personaly use very little soy,I dont like the acidic ash content of soy. Then there is the issue of soy isolated protein powders. These isolates are produced in large aluminum vats. There is speculation that the aluminum leaches into the soy product produced in the vats. For the sake of toxin avoidance I elimenated soy isolates from my diet years ago. There is also an issue with the phytoestrogens in soy.I dont think this issue is as big as it is made out to be.The highly proccesed soy products are sometimes laced with msg and other chemicals.Best to steer clear of proccesed food all together.I indulge in resistance training myself, along with yoga and tai chi.As far as protein goes relavant to plant based sorces there are plenty of sorces to choose from.Rice protein is one of my favorites.Nutritional yeast is high in protein and hemp is as well. And as far as protein goes the body doesnt use animal protein or plant protein. The body uses amino acids gleened from whichever source you choose to run through your system. The differances are of amino acid content of the foodstufs used.Along with assimilation values of your digestive tract on the foods in question. The body type or fast oxidizer as you put it is used for catigorization purposes only. There is no valid Science behind the theories of bloodtype oxidize type endo meso or bolono type diets. It is a great marketing tool which leads to an abundance of confusion. If you wish to gain wait the plan for this is very simple.Stay in a anabolic state and dont enter the state of catabolic. You might find the website beyond vegan.com of interest from a research point of view.Best wishes and good luck!
