Thanks for your recommendation, Zoe! I, too, have been trying to avoid MSG/Aspartame for a very long time. Recently, however, I came across a fantastic site called http://www.msgtruth.org, authored by a food scientist who used to work for large food corporations. She tells it like it is - how Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) is in many foods without it being written on the label. I think we have all been ingesting the stuff unwittingly.
