The heating aliments are in the side of the tank where the electric is.

The rod or rods in the top are the stinkers, I am removing one today and if I find 2 I will remove them all..... I understand they put these rods in electric tanks as a method to make the tank last longer, they don't consider the rods poisoning the water.
