I found a small grove on a commercial property with about 30 citrus trees, lemons, limes, oranges... I asked about the fruit, because last year I saw them throwing so much away; not even donating it to homeless shelters. The trees had been GMO'd and strategically planted to produce fragrant citrus smells on the property, the fruit itself is not fit to eat!

Why bother?????

My mom has been buying and saving non-gmo seed. Maybe I should start doing it too for a few years till I have a good few years worth of sustainable seed stock if I ever need it.
