Hi Guys,
I've been reading this forum with great interest for a few weeks now and thought that i would share my experiences with you and hopefully it may be of some help.
I have suffered greatly with excessive facial hair for around 9 years, (since i was 18) and i have spent a fortune on every kind of hair remover known to man (and woman !!), i have tried every single 'miracle cure' that there is and i have spent many a day sat in my very unsympathetic doctors surgery in tears begging for him to do something to help me.
As i couldn't afford to have laser treatment I finally resigned myself to the fact that daily shaving, plucking and covering myself in heavy make up to cover the shaving rash and the redness was going to be a part of my everyday life.
About 3 months ago i spotted a Laser Hair Removal System that can be used at home,i was a little unsure about buying it as i had already spent a lot of money on previous hair removal systems which had never worked (electrolisis pens etc.)
Anyway i bought the unit 3 months ago from a mail order company and gave it a go, it is a little tricky to use at first and can be quite time consuming (you can only treat each hair individually) but i can honestly say that i have seen such a massive improvement already, a lot of the hairs have been removed completely and for the first time in 9 years i have smooth hair free patches of skin on my chin and neck !!
I still have a long way to go until i have removed all the hairs completely, but this is the only thing that i have ever used which has given such great results.
I bought the unit for £120.00, but they have since come down in price and are between £80.00 - £100.00 now.
The name of the unit i have been using is Rio Laser Hair Removal System and you can buy them in most high street shops like Argos and Boots or you can buy them online
http://www.riolaserhair.com/ they cost £99.95 on this web site with free p&p.
I'm not sure which other countries they supply to but they do have an e-mail address which is info@riolaserhair.com so you could always e-mail them and ask if they stock them in your country or if they will ship them abroad.
Anyway, i have probably bored you all rigid but i thought i would share this experience with you all in the hope that it might also work for you guys too.
Thanks for reading and keep up the good work in this forum, the support you all give to each other is amazing. :o)
