Well, that's true, but what about if you were out in the woods or somewhere, and all you could do would be 'cuss', and then maybe wipe off the cut? (or rinse it in a stream). The cut would stop bleeding and start healing in a few minutes or hours (unless it was a BIG one) pretty much no matter what you do!

I mean, I'm not big on creams or band-aids so if I get a cut I usually just leave it alone and it heals all the same.

It is an interesting question.
