Having blood work done can be a good way to check to make sure that everything is functioning the way it should. Evaluating the blood work-up from a functional standpoint can help to better identify what might be out of balance. Normal blood work standards only look at the blood from a disease standpoint, while functional evaluations look to see what might be heading towards diseases or conditions.
