TB-- wow, doesn't sound like much fun. And it's not, that's for sure. However, I also believe you may have overdosed on the Epsom Salts . Even though the recipe I was following said to take 4 Tablespoons, I cheated and took only 2, and I'm glad I did! It is powerful stuff and really cleans you out! I also agree with Agnes, you may need some probiotics and some physical exercise. It depends on your constitution and bowel strength. Mine are typically sluggish, so I have to have alot of physical activity to keep them working. You may be different. Also, a colon cleansing protocol might help, one that uses a bulking agent perhaps. I don't know, and I shouldn't be dispensing advice anyway, but these are just ideas from my own experience.
I don't know if what you passed, which sounds exactly like my experience, is just congealed olive oil or not... I pondered upon that same thought, and I still don't know for certain, but I can say that my bowels have been functioning better since the flush, more like they used to when I was much younger. As I said, my intestines are usually quite sluggish, and have been for years, even though I take in quite a bit of fiber and liquid. I've tried probiotics, with varied results, but I have come to believe over time that the first issue is that I'm not producing enough bile. I remember years ago, I did follow the advice of one well-known natural healing advocate, Paavo Airola, the author of How to Get Well. It was a way to cause the liver to produce more bile, though I can't recall what it was now. What I do recall though is that at the time, my digestion improved quite a bit. But with time, I forgot about it, and the digestive process sort of went slowly downhill until I did the serious colon cleansing. But even after that, it deteriorated again, most likely because of my lack of discipline in what I eat, as well as the imbalance in the intestinal bacteria, and the yeast issue. At this time, I am still struggling to improve it again, and the Liver Flush certainly has moved me in the right direction. It has been 4 days now, and things are working quite well.
Again, I don't know about your case, but I also struggle with a Candida overgrowth, have for years. I am going to soon do a cleanse designed to eliminate it, and we'll see what happens. I read recently of a girl who used Homozon successfully for it, as it had colonized her colon. I've never used Homozon or anything like it. I was led to it a few years ago and was going to use it, but got derailed somehow and never did get around to it.
Well, I'm rambling, so I'll quit now. I hope you don't get discouraged because of this experience. Even if it was difficult and didn't yield the results you would have hoped for, which undoubtedly is often the case, I believe the challenge and the quest to take responsibility for your own health is one of the bravest and most honorable things a person can do, and I laud anyone with the courage, tenacity, and open-mindedness to do it. Besides, the alternatives can be very costly in human suffering and loss of self-determinism. I have had many discouraging times in my quest to heal myself, but I've also had some victories, and learned much along the way. I don't mean to seem proud about it, but many of my family and friends, who for many years made fun of me, are now coming to me for advice because as they age they are beginning to have health issues and are looking for answers. My older brother was one of my loudest critics, and he is now a cancer survivor. He was lucky this time. I hope he listens to what his body is trying to tell him. He still doesn't listen to me much, but he no longer makes fun of me either!
So I hope all goes well for you! Take care, Greg
