Dear Southern Bell, or anyone else who knows,

I have five Amalgam fillings and one gold crown. I am seriously considering having them removed, after I get my health up to par.

Do you have a ballpark figure for how much it cost to remove amalgams? I know it's probably more in some parts of the country and the world. I live in Texas, but could travel to Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico. I'd be willing to go just about anywhere...
