Actually, it was Adam, THEN Eve.

God was so confused about it, that, instead of creating man and woman together (despite having created thousands of species with both genders and the urge to "go forth and multiply"), God created man and pretended he was done, then thought better of it and created a companion for man.

No wonder men can get a little confused about sexuality.

We can blame lesbianism on uppity women who don't know their place.
