You might want to read the book "Olive Leaf Extract" by Morton Walker, and consider taking olive leaf (extract, whole leaf powder, tea or tincture) to keep your hepatitis C under control (if not cured). The olive leaf is very, very powerful. It is antiviral and works on things that nothing else will work on. It will also work against candida. It should be safe for your liver. Also, there is almost no toxic dose (if there is, it is extremely high). I believe this is definitely something you would be interested in.
