I have a thousand dollar house fund to spend, however unfortunately I want four things that will cost a lot more than that. They are a whole house reverse osmosis water filtration system, quality non-poisonous cookware set, a Vitamix (or like product), and a quality hepa air filter. I’m thinking I will try to get three of those things and get the fourth one for Christmas. But I need help on getting quality products, but spending as little as possible. I figure I can save some money by getting a used Vitamix. I need advice on all products and places to get them.

However specifically I want to know where to get a quality quality hepa air filter for the least amount of money.

I have tried an ionic air filter. I want to see if a hepa works better as was suggested to me. My husband has sarcoidosis (lung inflammation) and I have sleep apnea (stop breathing while sleeping). So I’m hoping our air being cleaned through a hepa will help our breathing probs.
