I have had a yeast allergy for many years. I finally went to a Dr. I read about in the yeast connection book, and he put me on the anticandida diet (I followed it for 8 months, and lost 55 pounds, and felt great!) and Diflucan. That's supposed to be a one-time yeast infection pill, but I had to take it daily for 2 1/2 months before my symptoms subsided. That was several years ago, and when the symptoms come back I take it again for up to a month. I have liver tests any time I take it, and they have always been fine.
