The Customer Service Department gets this question a LOT via phone calls and emails: How do people get parasite infections?

Well, it's very simple. Parasite eggs are microscopic, take for example: A person has parasites, but they are unaware of their infection. They use the restroom and don't thoroughly wash their hands - they then use the shopping cart where they unknowlingly deposit parasite eggs. You come in an hour later and use that same cart and unknowingly pick up the eggs onto your hands. Later still, you rub your nose or put your unwashed finger into your mouth and BOOM - you are the new host.

Same thing at restaurants - food handlers not washing their hands then depositing eggs onto foodstuffs that you consume. The examples could go on and on. Easy transmission via the anal-oral route is why small children pass around parasites so easily. If a daycare or school has ONE case of pinworms, you can just about guarantee that there will be many more.

What to do? Take precautions, yes - BUT simply parasite cleanse 2-3 times per year. Just assume that you will pick up an infection and routinely cleanse to get rid of it (them).
